Second walk through for the KFC Surprise. Met up with the superintendent and the following items were discussed: 1). NSF approved food prep sink will be installed in the kitchen on the back wall across form the walk-in coolers. 2). Condensate drains from the walk in will be manifolded and led into the landscaping and clear from the structure. P-trap the drain on the exterior. Create a dry well 1 x 1 foot and 2 feet deep with rocks to capture the water so mosquito's don't breed. 3). Reduced Pressure Principle backflow valves will be installed upstream of the soda system to the side of the water heater. Valve will have a hub drain and will be tested and certified before final. Soda will tie directly into the valve. 4). If installed provide a reduced pressure zone backflow valve upstream of the combi-oven. Hub drain can be led to the floor sink near the oven. 5). Dual check valves that meet plumbing standard ASSE 1022 will be installed for the: a). Bunn hot water dispensers, one can serve both. b). On the water supply line to the hot cabinet. c). On the water supply to the coffee/ tea brewer. If installed. d). On the water feed to the center island Henny Penny boxes. (Hopefully this filter system is not RO as stated on the plans). 5). Install metal coved base along the floor / wall junctures in the walk-in coolers. 6). Provide metal coved base along the front of the dining room beverage counter. 7). Per plan Fly fans will be installed at the drive through and the back door. If not installed at the drive through then make sure to take the magnet out of the sliding door so it always closes and can not be set open. 8). Dining room soda drains and ice machine drain will be run through the wall to the floor sink. Try to come in high and properly brace. Finish out penetration through the wall and follow gravity flow and keep 1 inch air gap. 9). Provide an additional water feed at the mop sink for future chemical dispensers. Hose bib or angle stop are approved. 10). Provide washable ceiling tiles of the dining room beverage counter. 11). Clean out covers and escutcheon plates will be installed throughout. 12). Hoods will be caulked at the wall juncture and in between with silver caulk. 13). Under side front counter will be caulked at the wall juncture and sealed. 14). Please caulk the walk-in units at the slab juncture outside. 15). Mop sink faucet will be installed at the mop sink with integral backflow valve. 16).
