Inspection Comments

Pre-final inspection walk through. The following items were observed or discussed: 1). Reduced Pressure Principle backflow valve has been installed. Valve has been tested and certified. Please remove copper. Soda company will tie directly into the valve. 2). If installed provide a reduced pressure zone backflow valve upstream of the combi-oven. Hub drain can be led to the floor sink near the oven. 3). Dual check valves that meet plumbing standard ASSE 1022 will be installed for the: a). Bunn hot water dispensers, one can serve both. b). On the water supply line to the hot cabinet. c). On the water supply to the coffee/ tea brewer. If installed. d). On the water feed to the center island Henny Penny boxes. Please see handout for model direction. 4). Install metal coved base along the floor / wall junctures in the walk-in coolers. 5). Per plan Fly fans will be installed at the drive through and the back door. If not installed at the drive through then make sure to take the magnet out of the sliding door so it always closes and can not be set open. 6). Dining room soda drains and ice machine drain will be run through the wall to the floor sink. Please install a 45 on the pipe so the water is led into the floor sink in the drain grate hole. 7). Continue the AC condensate (under drive through counter) and lead to the floor sink. 8). Provide an additional water feed at the mop sink for future chemical dispensers. Hose bib or angle stop are approved. 9). Clean out covers and escutcheon plates will be installed throughout. 10). Hoods will be caulked at the wall juncture and in between with silver caulk. 11). Under side front counter will be caulked at the wall juncture and sealed. 12). Caulk holes from old brace under the soda counter at drive through and stainless corner trims at the drive through window. 13). Please caulk the FRP trim at the wall at electric panel. Epoxy will be brought up the wall at the entrance of dining area. 14). Holes in the wall under drive through soda counter will be finished out at the time the floor is repaired. Floor will be re-done, drain lines raised and epoxy run up the walls. Grade will be made at the walk-in entrance and furring out at electric panel coved. Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
