Final inspection for the gift shop. Construction is complete. Owner will follow up on the items below and send pictures. 1). Install coved base in the service area along the toe kicks. 2). Provide a washable ceiling over the coffee bar. 3). Please restore the hot water flow at the mop sink in the ladies room. 4). Please install some FRP with trims in the splash zone of the mop sink. This establishment will share the restrooms, mop sink and three compartment sink with the wigwam. Three compartment sink may only be shared if you keep a cleaning log for the dishes and under the condition that you only serve the coffee drinks as shown in the menu. This menu may not be expanded upon unless you install a three compartment sink at the back bar. Permit issued Eating and Dinking permit class II 0-9 Seating. This establishment has demonstrated sufficient compliance to proceed with the issuance of the permit. To complete the issuance of this permit and begin operation, the applicant must first submit payment of the permit fee to the Department’s Business Services Office. Per Chapter I, Regulation 4, of the Maricopa County Environmental Health Code, no person shall conduct an operation or an establishment for which a permit is required without holding the necessary and valid permit to do so. Priority foundation violation is a minor violation that does not directly contribute to an increased risk of foodborne illness but failure to correct this violation may lead to the occurrence of a priority violation.
e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
