Inspection Comments

First inspection walk through with head of maintenance and the superintendent. The following items were discussed: 1). Please provide a coved floor wall juncture in the break room restrooms. This will also cover the grout holes in ladies room. 2). In the men's room one faucet is loose. 3). Ladies room one stall is under lit. 4). In restrooms silicone the backsplashes at the counter juncture. 5). In the break room, provide rigid drain lines for the ice machines and lead to the floor sink with an air gap. Janitors closet: 6). Provide a separate water feed for the chemical dispenser. 7). Provide an escutcheon for the AC condensate and hot water line coming out of the wall. 8). Provide a washable ceiling. 9). Provide a i inch air gap for the drain pan. 10). Caulk in mop sink at top and floor junctures, provide a beveled away from the wall top caulk joint. 11). Per IPC the dual check valves for the coffee brewers should meet plumbing standard ASSE 1022. 12). Fill control joint in janitors closet floor. 11). Provide an air gap in the backflow housing of the chemical dispenser. 12). Re-mount base where loose. 13). Re-caulk toilets where caulk joint is open at the wall juncture - throughout. 14). Janitors closet # 128 a). Install dedicated water line. b). Provide air gap for chemical dispenser. c). Provide coved base where missing. d). Caulk mop sink at the floor juncture. e). Touch up mop sink top caulk and provide a beveled bead of caulk away from the wall. f). Mount exhaust fan cover. 15) Caulk in fire line wall penetrations throughout. 16). Adjust door sweeps om the exterior and make sure gaps are sealed under the door. 17). Coved base in North Restrooms. 18). Provide tempered water in restrooms North side. 19). North side janitors closet: a). Install coved base at FRP. b). Cut back drain pan drain and provide air gap. c). Provide a separate water feed for the chemical dispenser. d). Please touch up cracked caulk. e). provide escutcheon for the water line coming in. 20). At Spray down / can wash: a). Fill in control joints b). Fill in wall joint. c). Caulk mop sink at floor juncture. 21). Please fill in gap around conduit south east corner of structure. 22). South side janitors closet: a). Install coved base at FRP. b). Install a dedicated water line at the sink if wall-mart is installing a chemical dispenser. 23). South side restrooms please provide a sanitary cove in the restrooms. 24). Provide tempered water at the restroom hand wash sinks. No County legal action will result from this inspection. E-mailed to Wall-Mart Head of maintenance and superintendent. Inspection rights included Operator for the food service has been notified to obtain a micro market permit.
