First visit for the Marriot Hotel. Plumbing is being installed in the rooms and structure is in the final stages of framing. Met up with superintendent and discussed the plans and stipulation letters: 1). Food prep sink waste will be plumbed indirect to the floor sink under the three compartment sink. 2). Bar hand wash sink will have splash guards. 3). Ceiling in the kitchen will be washable grid tiles, soffit with washable/ wipable paint at breakfast bar. 4). Reduced Pressure Zone will be required upstream of the soda system. Install with hub drain assembly and please have the valve tested and certified before final inspection. Please do not install copper downstream of the valve. 5). Dual check valves with strainers will need to be installed upstream of the beverage machines. See handout. 6) Lighting has now been drawn in for the kitchen. Looks like enough lights and well distributed where marked. Please make sure you also have enough light at the ice machine. 7). Toe kick of the breakfast bar will be based out with coved base. 8). Separate water lines will be installed at the two mop sinks for possible future chemical dispensers. 9). Please see stipulation letters for additional notes. 10). Dishwashers drains will require an air break. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Printed in site.
