E&D, class 4 10+ Plumbing inspection was conducted with the person in charge, Robert. Construction is at 70% completion. The inspection rights sheet will be emailed with the report to the person in charge. Please address the following items prior to the next inspection: 1. Please set hot water at 140*F since the establishment has a high-temp dishwasher. 2. Provide a reduced pressure zone (RPZ) assembly (ASSE 1013 standard) at the water connection point of the soda carbonator. Provide a drain cup for the device. Drainpipe must be rigid and indirectly discharge to a floor sink with 1” air gap from the finished floor. Certify the backflow and provide report. 3. Provide a RPZ for the mister system. 4. Testable backflow devices must be installed at minimum 12” above but not more than 60” from the finished grade and easily accessible for testing and maintenance purpose. 5. Provide a vented dual check valve (ASSE 1022 standard) at the water connection point of the coffee/ tea brewer and espresso machine. These are not testable device, so, replace them annually or whenever they leak; whichever comes first. 6. Provide a hand sink with side splash guard at the ware washing area. Hand sink must be within 25 feet and at each work zone. Nearest hand sink is over 25 feet away. 7. Provide a stub-out with angle stop at the mop sink for chemical dispenser. 8. Provide washable ceiling tiles behind the bar and front food/ drink prep area. Acoustical ceiling tiles are not acceptable in these areas. 9. Provide a micro-switch activated air curtain at the delivery door. The dumpster is very close to the back-delivery door. 10. Provide self-closer or self-closing hinges on exterior and restroom’s doors. 11. Provide escutcheon plates around pipe penetrations. 12. Fill all cracks, holes, gouges, and expansion joints on the concrete floor throughout. 13. Provide 3/8” radius cove base outside of the walk-in cooler, behind bar, drink service and at cabinet base areas. Please use metal cove base for outside of the walk-in cooler. 14. Flash off the top of the walk-in cooler to the ceiling grid. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Please contact the Department at 602-506-6824 to schedule the next inspection.
