Inspection Comments

Pre-final walk through inspection. Walk through with the contractor. The following items were discussed: 1). Silicone the soda fountains at the counter junctures. 2). re-arrange the soda fountain drains and provide an air gap at the floor sink. Properly brace and tie in the drip tray drain to follow the contours of the pipes. 3). Fill in the control joint in the floor at the soda station. Fill also in under the counter and holes around the floor sink. 4). Provide a coved floor / wall juncture in the restrooms where the base tiles meet the floor. 5). Caulk the toilets at the floor junctures. 6). Caulk the underside front counter at the FRP juncture. 7). Re-caulk the hand wash sink at the wall juncture at the drive through. Re-mount. 8). The water line to the ice machine is leaking, repair. 9). Provide a dual check valve on the water supply line to the soft serve machine at the drive through. 10). There are several corner guards loose, at mop sink, drive through window, walk-in, please check all and make sure they are all properly mounted. 11). Caulk the drive through window sill at the FRP junctures. 12). Cut back the screw in the hood's batwing and install cap. See if you can turn it around so it all looks identical with the other bolts. 13). Silicone the mop sink at the floor junctures. 14). Install a clean out cover at the clean out on outside mop sink wall. 15). Caulk the water lines at the water heaters. 16). Close the gap under the back door. Adjust door sweep. 17). Size up the cleanout cover at the dish washer. 18). Provide backflow test for the soda backflow valve. 19). Provide a drain grate at the prep sink floor sink. 20). Provide strainer baskets or dome covers for the floor sinks at the dish washer and three compartment sink. 21). Caulk the walk-in at the FRP junctures. 22). Please install some base along the front of the walk-in cooler. If the screws are in the way then install up to the screw plates. 23). Drill a hole through the concrete side walk and create a dry well for the condensate of the walk-in. 24). Clean up polyurethane foam in the walk-in cooler and freezer. 25). Caulk the holes in the FRP at the Bag in the box. 26). Caulk around the condensate line of the freezer on the exterior wall. 27). Please check the drain on the walk-in freezer drain pan, it seems to leak at the connection to the drain. Construction is at 98%. No County legal action will result

Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
