Inspection Comments

Pre-final inspection walk through. 1). Provide sufficient lighting in the front service area and at the mop sink. 50 foot candles are required at the food service area, 20 foot candles at the mop sink. 2). Tie the icee machine and soda machine in at the same Reduced Pressure Zone backflow valve. 1/26/2023. 3). At the mop sink: a) Please re-caulk at the floor and wall junctures. b). Install cleanout cover and split escutcheon for the AC condensate. c). If not planned install coved base, also over the FRP in the splash zone. 4). Ceiling in the front service area that is over open foods and beverage machines will need to be washable, the rest can remain. Looks like just a few tiles along the back wall. White tiles may be spray painted to match as long as they are cleanable. 5). Provide sufficient lighting in the walk-in refrigerator. One light is present, if bright enough no second light is needed. 6). Walk in unit will need to be based out on the exterior. 7). Walk-in unit will be flashed to the wall and ceiling. 8). Penetration through the walk-in wall and ceiling will need to be filled and finishes out smooth on the inside. 9). Cracks and crevices will need to be finishes out, wide cut FRP at hand wash sink, electric box in water heater room, underside pass through counter and counter - pony wall in the front service area, gap between the FRP trim and the base tile will need to be filled in. etc. 10). Pass through window will receive a collar and will be caulked in. At final all equipment will need to be in place. All refrigeration equipment will need to be on and holding at proper temperature. Backflow valve upstream of the soda system has been tested. Reports are to be kept on site. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Printed on site.
