OC Inspection - E&D Class 4 This inspection was conducted with the kitchen manager. A PDF copy of this inspection report was emailed to Tom L. at the time of this inspection. No county legal action will result from this inspection. Correct the following items prior to final permit approval and re-inspection scheduled for 11/24/2021; 1. The drain pipe for the right compartment of the three compartment sink is leaking. Repair this leak and ensure that there are no leaking drain pipes anywhere in the facility. 2. The floor sink beneath the three compartment sink overflows when one compartment of the sink is emptied. Clear this floor sink and or grease trap so that the three compartment sink basins can be emptied without overflowing the floor sink. 3. The atmospheric vacuum breaker on the mop sink faucet is broken and leaking. Repair the AVB on the mop sink faucet to be fully functional. 4. There is a missing baffle in the exhaust hood. Replace the missing hood baffle to restore proper air-flor into the exhaust hood. 5. One of the chemical dispensers at the three compartment sink does not have a proper air-gap. Remove or replace this chemical dispenser with one that has a proper air-gap. 6. The RPZ backflow prevention device for the soda fountain carbonator must be tested and certified. 7. Provide 1022 backflow prevention devices for the water supply lines to the coffee and tea machines. A total of two are required.. 8. Clean all floor sinks in the kitchen and bar and provide minimum 1 in. air-gaps between the ends of all drain pipes and the flood rims of the floor sinks. Currently there are pipes extending below the flood rim of the floor sink in the bar dishwasher area. 9. Clean the floor in the bar, especially under the sinks and dishwasher. 10. Repair the damaged metal cove base at the floor/wall juncture on the front of the walk-in refrigerator. 11. Clean and re-caulk the gaps between the bottom of the exhaust hood and the stainless steel walls beneath.

Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
