Inspection Comments

Plumbing inspection for a Class 4 E&D 10+ permit was conducted with superintendent by appointment. Inspection rights were delivered to Heath F. via email. The project is approximately 30% complete. Please ensure the following items are addressed by the completion of the project: 1) Install ASSE 1013 reduced pressure backflow preventer upstream of the soda carbonators. Ensure no copper is located downstream of the backflow unit. Certify and provide test reports. 2) Install ASSE 1022 dual check backflow preventers on each water supply line connected to non-carbonated beverage equipment. 3) The eggshell paint finish is not approved in any food area and restroom areas. Provide semi-gloss or high gloss to these areas. Please contact the Department to schedule the equipment inspection (50-75% completion) at 602.506.6824. MCESD inspection report was delivered via email. No County legal action will result from this inspection.

e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
