OC Inspection - E&D Class 4 This inspection was conducted with the owner. A PDF copy of this inspection was emailed to Sammie H. at the time of this inspection. No county legal action will result from this inspection. Correct the following prior to final permit approval and re-inspection scheduled for 12/02/2021; 1. The exhaust hood over the fryers is not functional. Repair the exhaust hood to be fully functional. 2. There is an uncapped drain pipe in the wall beneath the dishwasher. Cap off and seal the drain pipe beneath the dishwasher. 3. There is an uncapped sewer pipe outside the back door. This pipe may be a vent pipe. If it is a vent pipe it should be extended up above the roof. If it is not it should be capped off and sealed. 4. An old food prep sink has been installed without a drain pipe in the front beverage station area. There is also no water supplied to this sink and it drains into a pan beneath. Remove this sink from the front beverage area. 5. Provide a hard, PVC type drain pipe for the walk-in refrigerator condensate that empties into an evaporator pan. There is currently a flex hose connected to the evaporator pan. 6. Remove the ceiling fan from the storage room where the floor sink used to drain the kitchen sinks is located. 7. Provide screens for the window in the room where the floor sink used to drain the kitchen sinks is located. 8. Ice machines added to any rooms separate from the kitchen will require fully functional hand sinks nearby. 9. Replace all broken door seals on all refrigerators in the kitchen. 10. Clean the grease from the exhaust hood and baffles. 11. All bare wood in the front beverage area must be finished to be smooth, non-absorbent and easily cleanable. 12. Remodel plans must be submitted for plumbing changes, changes to the exhaust hoods and or relocation or addition of walk-in units..

Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
