Inspection Comments

OC re-inspection was conducted with the store assistant manager, Kyle. Most items noted in the OC inspection report had been addressed. Please address the following items prior to the next routine inspection: 1. Certify all testable backflow preventer and provide reports. 2. Noted there are numerous exposed insulation material on the ceiling in dry storage area. All insulation material must be fully covered. Scrimp sheets/ Tyvek material is acceptable. 3. Continue sealing around electrical, lights, condensation pipes/ conduits inside the walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer. Re-wrap the insulation around the condenser pipes inside walk-in freezer. 4. Continue filling cracks, gouges, and un-leveled floor level throughout. 5. Remove the water cup underneath the 3-comp sink of the meat prep room to provide the required 1” air gap from the flood rim to end of the drainpipe. Per employee, wastewater is overflowing from the drain cup every time the sinks were being drained. Please repair to address this issue. No County legal action will result from this inspection. The inspection rights sheet is emailed with the report to the person in charge.

Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
