Inspection Comments

Construction inspection conducted with Hoo. Facility is under construction and equipment has been moved. Reviewed stipulation letter with the owner Hoo. Rights of inspection and inspection report emailed to Hoo. Discussed the following items with the owner. 1. There is no handwash station on the west side of the work station. Per owner, area will only be used as storage 2. A handwash station will be required in the other room where the ice machine is located. 3. Facility has a jockey box that has a soft plumb line to a floor drain 4. No backflow (ASSE 1022) for the coffee makers 5. No cove base throughout the facility. Cove base needed 6. Areas to be sealed. Exposed wood to be sealed. Sinks to be sealed to the walls. No County legal action will result from this inspection

Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
