Inspection Comments

Equipment inspection conducted with site superintendent. At the time of this inspection, this project was about 70% complete. Inspection report emailed to Mark M. Repair the following prior to final inspection: 1. Ensure to install an ASSE 1013 RPZ backflow prevention assembly on each water line upstream of the RO 2. System (site super stated that RO may be on hold – minor remodel maybe needed). 3. Site super stated a reduced pressure principle backflow device (ASSE standard 1013) for the nitro system. 4. Site super stated a reduced pressure principle backflow device (ASSE standard 1013) for any hot and cold-water lines feeding a rinser at the dump/rinse sinks. 5. Certify all backflow preventers and provide a copy of the backflow preventer test certification. 6. Provide a rigid waste drain line indirectly connected with a minimum 1-inch air gap to the sewer through a floor sink for all drip tray systems and equipment used for food service (No PEX Lines). 7. Continue to brace all waterlines above drain lines. 8. Continue to provide uni-strut for the drain lines and secure all uni-struts to the floor as discussed. 9. Ensure that all concrete floors are finished smooth, and all expansion joints or cracks are properly filled. No 10. open cracks or open expansion joints allowed. 11. Ensure all hot water is available to all sink fixtures within 45-seconds. 12. Ensure hot water is provided to hand sinks between 100°F -110°F. 13. Adjust the drive through window so it closes shut a little faster. 14. Ensure the areas around the floor sinks are smooth easy to clean. 15. Ensure all chemical dispensers have a 1055A true air gap. Please continue with construction according to plans, stipulation letter, and inspections. Please call (602) 506-6824 for a final inspection at 100% completion of project or if an additional onsite walk-through is needed. Please also ensure you have read your Responsibilities to Qualify for a Permit document and are in compliance with all requirements before final inspection. A certified food manager is required at time of approval. If not already obtained, please obtain your certified food manager certificate from an ANSI approved testing company. All other food handlers must obtain ANSI approved food handler certificates. No county legal action will result from the inspection.

e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
