Inspection Comments

Construction inspection conducted with Megan B. manager for inspection of the installation of blender rinsers and nitro brew. Inspection report emailed to store email. Repair the following prior to re-inspection: 1. Ensure blender rinsers are installed downstream of the RPZ backflow preventers (no other devices or sink fixtures may be tied into water line). Current setup has them on the faucet of the dump sinks. Water lines are connected to faucet that are not protected by an ASSE 1013 RPZ backflow. Of Note: An email was sent to PIC for Black Rock and GC explaining how blender rinsers should be installed. Current setup requires a secondary ASSE 1013 to be installed upstream of all blender rinsers. Stipulation letter (preconstruction letter) was also sent in the email stating: *Provide a reduced pressure principle backflow device (ASSE standard 1013) for any hot and cold-water lines feeding a rinser at the dump/rinse sinks. To alleviate the problem, provide a dedicated waterline for only the blender rinsers that is protected by ASSE 1013 RPZ backflow preventers, or provide an additional ASSE 1013 RPZ upstream of blender rinse systems faucet that does not have RPZ upstream. No county legal action will result from the inspection.
