Inspection Comments

New permit inspection. Walk through with regional manager and director of operations. The following items were observed for correction: 1). Please have the dual check valve on the carbonator replaced with a new unit or have coke test and sign off on the valve. 2). Please close the hole in the wall under the food prep sink. 3). Under the food prep sink and where open caulk or grout the base tile at the wall juncture. 4). Repair the bottom shelve on the storage rack in the back room. 5). See if the filer company can change the valve out on the pressure relief line so it stops dripping. 6). Replace the t-grid bar that is rusted / missing. 7). Please provide some coved base along the FRP under the front counter. 8). Please caulk the underside of the front counter at the wall juncture. 9). Provide a hand wash sink with hot and cold water near the drive through. 10). Please provide a dual check valve that meets plumbing standard ASSE 1022 upstream of the tea brewer. 11). Some base tiles are missing to the side of the soda station at the drive through, please replace. 12). Please silicone the back splash on the hand wash counter in the ladies room. 13), Please re-mount the loose toilet in the last stall in the ladies room and re-caulk. Noted water under the soft serve machine that is pooling in that area. It is advised to change the table for the tea brewer and soft serve machine out with a model that will allow you to squeegee the floor in that area. The water seems to migrate out This establishment has demonstrated sufficient compliance to proceed with the issuance of the permit. To complete the issuance of this permit and begin operation, the applicant must first submit payment of the permit fee to the Department’s Business Services Office. Per Chapter I, Regulation 4, of the Maricopa County Environmental Health Code, no person shall conduct an operation or an establishment for which a permit is required without holding the necessary and valid permit to do so. We accept cash, check, money order, credit/debit. It is the responsibility of the permit holder/owner to notify MCESD if there are contact/ billing address changes. Re-inspection will be conducted at 10 am on February 23rd. No County legal action will result from this inspection. E-mailed to regional manager and director of operations. Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
