Construction inspection for a Class 4 10+ E&D permit was conducted with Todd K. by appointment. Inspection rights were delivered via email. The project is approximately 95% complete. Please ensure the following items are addressed by the completion of the project: 1) The facility will be following outdoor bar requirements due to the presence of garage roll-up doors. The facility will need to provide tight-fitting, gasketed, self-closing doors to all kitchen entrances to seal the kitchen. 2) Install ASSE 1013 reduced pressure backflow preventers upstream of the soda carbonator, keg washers, and glass rinsers at the bars. Ensure no copper is located downstream of the soda carbonator backflow. Certify and provide test reports. 3) The flex drains at the bar areas is not approved. Transition the flex drains to rigid piping, such as PVC and air gap above the floor sink. 1" minimum air gap required. 4) Install ASSE 1022 dual check backflow preventers upstream of all non-carbonated beverage equipment. 5) Continue caulking all escutcheon plates and plumbing penetrations throughout the facility. 6) Provide a tool cove or finger cove to the cmu block/floor junctures at the west bar. Utilize siliconized grout. 7) All equipment pieces at the bars with drains must be set in place and caulked to the walls. At the final construction inspection, ensure hot water measuring 120' F minimum is provided to the plumbing system and all refrigerators are on and measuring at 41' F or below. MCESD inspection report was delivered via email. No County legal action will result from this inspection.
