Observed the only hand wash sink in establishment located near the ice machine not operational. Person in charge states the sink is rarely used and did not notice it was not operational. Discussed the importance of having all hand washing sinks operational and stocked with paper towels and soap to practice proper hand washing. Correct prior to re-inspection on 9/23/2022.

Core-6-501.12, C: Cleaning, Frequency and Restrictions Observed accumulation of loose cardboard and plastic in ice machine room as well as in walk in. Observed soda spillage in ice machine room under soda bibs. Clean all areas and maintain clean prior to next routine inspection. Core-6-201.11, C: Floors, Walls and Ceilings-Cleanability Observed perforated ceiling tiles in ice machine/box room. Observed multiple tiles throughout establishment to be heavily warped and or stained from water damage. Repair/replace ceiling with vinyl ceiling tiles to provide a smooth, cleanable surface prior to next routine inspection.

This establishment is not participating in the award program at this time and had 0 Priority, 2 Priority Foundation and 2 Core Violations on this inspection. A re-inspection will be conducted on 9/23/2022 to ensure priority foundation violations #8 and #36 have been corrected. Must address the following items prior to the routine inspection: 1) Fill all wall holes throughout the facility with silicone, as needed. 2) Caulk-in all escutcheon plates and plumbing penetrations with silicone. 3) Provide cove base to the millwork/floor junctures where the soda fountain is located. 4) Replace the rusted floor sink grates. 5) Replace the perforated acoustical ceiling tiles in the bag in the box room with smooth, washable vinyl ceiling tiles. 6) Trim the foam sealant throughout the walk-in cooler flush and provide a smooth layer of silicone.
