This establishment is not participating in the award program at this time and had 0 Priority, 1 Priority Foundation and 2 Core Violations on this inspection. *Observed non-functioning ice machine in establishment. The hand sink next to the ice machine has been dismantled. The person in charge indicated the ice machine will be repaired. The establishment must also restore the hand sink and provide water of at least 100*F water, hand cleanser, and hand drying provisions as soon as the ice machine is repaired and in use. Person in charge was informed that hand washing prior to scooping ice prevents contamination from hands; hand can be a vehicle for bacteria which can be transferred to ice intended for customer consumption. A pattern of non-compliance is developing for Priority Foundation violation #36, 6-501.111, which has been noted during this inspection. An Active Managerial Control Intervention Visit was offered to the person in charge. Person-in-charge DECLINED. Failure to correct repeat violations may result in legal action. A copy of the inspection report was emailed. No County legal action will result from this inspection.
