Inspection Comments

Pre-final walk through conducted for the Retail Grocery Permit. Store is at about 85% completion. The following items were observed: 1). The condensate drain pipe at the mop sink will need to be braced and clear from the edge of the mop sink, make sure you keep a 1 inch air gap. 2). Sump pump for the beer cooler condensate will be run to a sump pump, mount on the exterior and condensate will be run to the mop sink overhead. 3). There is a crack in the floor in the beer cooler, please fill in. About center room running east-west. 4). Back door will receive weather stripping and door sweep. Door will need to be insect tight. 5). Double check noted upstream of the humidor, this can be approved if needed. Please have the valve tested and certified before final inspection. 6). Please base out back room 109, throughout. 7). Back door will be caulked in at the door frame- wall junctures. 8). Control joints in the floor will need to be filled in and flush with the floor. Also in coolers, under storage racks. 9). Provide washable ceiling tiles in mop room as specified in revision. Act-2 (Could be done, did not check). 10). Continue sealing the floors in rooms 102, 107 and 109 per revised plan. 11). Caulk back and side splash and beer tasting area hand wash sink. 12). Toe kicks at the beer and wine tasting areas will be based out with coved base. Store is ok to stock, pending city approval, as soon as the floors are complete and base is installed. Overhead was about complete per superintendent. Please stock bathrooms with soap and paper towels during occupation. Final inspection will take place right before opening. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Emailed to project manager.
