Inspection Comments

Pre-final walk through conducted for the Eating and Drinking Permit. Store is at about 85% completion. The following items were observed: 1). Beer and wine areas will receive coved base along the toe kicks. 2). Panel is ordered to cover the grease trap in the dish room. 3). Three compartment sink drain line will need to line up with the opening in the floor sink so there is no over-splash. Keep an inch air gap. 4). Dishwasher drain will need to transition into a rigid line and led to the floor sink, properly brace, lead along the wall, off the floor and keep an 1 inch air gap. Clamp transition. 5). Make sure that the water supply line to the dish washer is not folded over when the dishwasher is pushed in place. Replumb connection. Store is ok to stock, pending city approval, as soon as the floors are complete and base is installed. Overhead was about complete per superintendent. At final inspection provide hot water at all sinks, tempered at restrooms 95-105 degrees F. Please stock bathrooms with soap and paper towels during occupation. Final inspection will take place right before opening. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Emailed to project manager.

Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
