Construction Inspection - Retail Food This inspection was conducted with the on site superintendent. A PDF copy of this inspection report was emailed to Chris H. at the time of this inspection. Address the following prior to final permit approval; 1. Provide easily cleanable, waterproof floors throughout the facility including all food and beverage prep areas and inside walk-in refrigeration units, restrooms, mop sink areas etc. 2. Provide a cove base finish at all floor/wall junctures and floor/cabinet junctures throughout the facility including all food and beverage prep areas, and inside walk-in refrigeration units, restrooms, mop sink areas etc. 3. Provide metal cove base at all floor/wall junctures on the inside and exposed outside portions of walk-in refrigeration units. 4. Provide testable backflow protection devices for all hose reels and hose connections to chemical dispensers. Testable backflow protection devices must be installed on all chemical dispensers connected to water supply lines that do not have air-gaps. 5. Provide dedicated water lines for all chemical dispensers including at mop sink areas. Chemical dispensers must not be installed on mop sink faucets. 6. Provide a certified, RPZ backflow prevention device for the water supply line to the RO system for the produce mister system. All piping and fittings on the downstream side of this device must be plastic or stainless steel, no copper or brass. 7. Provide separate drain pipes to floor sinks with minimum 1 in. air-gaps for all three compartment sinks, food prep sinks, ice bins food and beverage waste drain lines,walk-in units, etc. 8. Seal all cement floors and fill in all expansion joints so that the floors are non-absorbent and smooth enough to be easily cleanable 9. Seal all cement curbs installed in walk-in areas to be waterproof and provide the caulked, cove base finish as discussed. No county legal action will result from this inspection.
