Equipment Inspection - Starbucks This inspection was conducted with the on site superintendent. A PDF copy of this inspection report was emailed to Chris H. at the time of this inspection. Address the following prior to final permit approval; 1. Finish installing the RO system and Ice machine in Starbucks. 2. Certify the RPZ backflow prevention device for the water supply line to the Starbucks RO system. All piping and fittings on the downstream side of this device must be plastic or stainless steel, no copper or brass. 3. Certify the RPZ backflow prevention devices for all water supply lines that feed blender rinsers installed in sinks with submerged water inlets. 4. Seal the open space between the CMU wall and the metal beam near the doorway inside the storage room 5. Provide adequate backflow protection for all equipment connected to water supply lines including coffee makers and cappuccino machines. No county legal action will result from this inspection.

Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
