Inspection Comments

First inspection for the Salad N Go. Wal through conducted. The following items were discussed: 1). Coved base will be provided throughout. 2). Filtered water and NF water lines are in. Noted hot water connected to hand sink in the restroom. 3). Separate water fee is in at the mop sink for future chemical dispensers. 4). Condensate is run through the all and will feed into the floor sink under the three compartment sink. Construction is at 77% completion. You can call or for a final or pre-final. If for a final then all equipment will need to be in place. Hot water at the sinks, micro switches on the fly fans working, refrigeration equipment including walk-in holding at proper temperatures etc. No County legal action will result from this inspection. E-mailed report. The Environmental Services Department will begin emailing permit card(s) and permit invoice(s) to permittees in the coming months. We need a current and accurate email address on file to ensure you receive a copy of your permit card and invoice(s) upon renewal. e.g. - Food employees do not properly wash hands when required
Priority foundation violation is a minor violation that does not directly contribute to an increased risk of foodborne illness but failure to correct this violation may lead to the occurrence of a priority violation.
e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
