Inspection Comments

Pre-final inspection for the Food Bank. Construction is at 95%. Walk through with superintendent and Banner. The following items were discussed: 1). The steam hood will be sealed to the wall. Horizontally and vertically. 2). Holes in the wall at the dish washer will be filled in. 3). Three compartment sink right faucet has a drip, spray arm is leaking at the dish wash gutter. 4). Where the FRP stands open at the base tile, seal, same with electric panels positioned over the base tile. 5). The floor will ne grouted flush with the tile under the chefs counter. 6). Hot and tempered water will be provided throughout: a). 100-108 degrees at the hand wash sinks. b). 110 degrees at the three compartment sink, minimum. c). 95-105 degrees at the restrooms. Check data pate on dishwasher and if the requirement is more than 120, adjust water heater first to the minimum and then the tempering valves. 7). Mop sinks will be caulked at the floor junctures. 8). Ice tea and coffee brewer will require a dual check valve upstream that meets plumbing standard ASSE 1022. One may serve both. Make sure to or install a filter, flush line and install valve or if there is no filter to install a strainer up stream to keep debris out of the valve. 9). Check freezer sprinkler penetrations and make sure they are air tight, drain line on walk-in will be caulked in and finished out with an escutcheon plate. 10). Check hot water setting on the restroom water heater and lower if needed. 11). Recirculation system on the restroom water heater will need to be turned on. 12). Room 223 hand sink counter will be touched up on the caulking of the side splashes. 13). Side door threshold will be installed and door with sweep will me made insect tight. 14). Backflow valves for Soda, and chemical dispensers will be tested and certified. 15). Drain line of the hot well will be re-routed and lined up with the chef's counter sink drain line. 16). Floor sinks at the beverage counter will be cleaned up. 17). Ice machine will be installed on the soda station, service line is being installed in the dining room. Drain lines here will need to be rigid as well. From our side, location is okay to stock and train. Check with P&D for occupancy allowance. No County legal action will result from this inspection.
