Inspection Comments

Plumbing inspection conducted with operator. At the time of this inspection, this project was about 60% complete. Operators acknowledged receiving information on inspection rights. Inspection report emailed to Graciela G. Address the following prior to next inspection: 1. Provide a commercial grade 50-gallon water heater to meet the minimum demands for hot water. 2. Provide hot water to the mop sink within 45-seconds. 3. Repair the leak on the 3-compartment sink closest to the water heater (3rd basin). 4. Install an ASSE 1013 RPZ backflow prevention device upstream of the two RO systems (each system will need its own backflow). 5. Certify all backflow preventers and provide a copy of the backflow preventer test certification. 6. Provide a rigid waste drain line indirectly connected with a minimum 1-inch air gap to the sewer through a floor sink for both ice machines and RO systems. 7. Provide uni-strut for the drain lines to maintain air gap integrity with the floor sink and secure all uni-struts to the floor. 8. Provide a shorter faucet for the 3-compartment sink closest to the water heater (too long for middle basin). 9. Reduce HUB drain for the 3-compartment sink so that it maintains air gap with drain. 10. Raise the ice machines and RO systems so they may keep slope for proper drainage into the floor sink. 11. Provide hose bib vacuum breaker for the mop sink. 12. Fill all gaps, cracks, and penetrations. 13. Provide splashguards for the hand sinks. 14. Provide Eliason doors for the entry ways into the kitchen as discussed. 15. Seal the backsplash and sides of all sink fixtures (you may use backerod to fill the larger gaps). 16. Provide weather stripping and door sweep for the back door closest to water heater. Please continue with construction according to plans, stipulation letter, and inspections. Please call (602) 527-5476 for an equipment/construction inspection between 65 - 75% completion of project or if an additional onsite walk-through is needed. No county legal action will result from the inspection.
