Inspection Comments

Equipment inspection Construction is about 70% complete. This inspection was not scheduled. Address the following items: (1) Per plan, and MCESD minimum requirement, provide a minimum 50 gallon capacity water heater. The current on-site water heater is only 38 gallon capacity. (2) Provide a separate NSF approved food prep sink. Sink must have both hot and cold running water, and be indirectly connected to the sewer through a floor sink. (3) The pull-out sprayer is not allowed on the back kitchen hand sink. Provide a fixed faucet. (4) Provide 3/8 radius metal coved base along the exterior walls of the wall-in unit. (5) Provide a reduced pressure backflow assembly (ASSE 1013, ex. Watts 009) on the water line isolating the batch freezer machine. Provide funnel and drain assembly under the backflow, routing the drain to a floor sink. (6) Provide 3/8 inch radius coved base on the restroom. Self closing door is also required. (7) Provide a self closure and door sweep on the back door. (8) Provide splash guards on both sides of front counter drop in hand sink. Report auto emailed. No county legal action will result from this inspection.
