Inspection Comments

OC re-inspection for a Class 4 10+ E&D permit was conducted with owner Jeremy D. by appointment. Inspection rights were delivered via email. The establishment was closed and not operating at time of inspection. The permit is not approved. Please address the following items prior to the next OC re-inspection within 10 days: 1) Provide a leg mounted utility/mop sink with hot and cold water in the laundry/dryer room, as discussed. Ensure a rigid faucet is installed. 2) Provide a rigid drain line, such as PVC or ABS, for the newly installed prep sink and provide a 1" minimum air gap above the floor sink. 3) Re-install the hub drain for the soda fountain drain and provide a 1" minimum air gap for the drain over the hub drain. 4) Flip the perforated acoustical ceiling tiles in the dry storage room and paint them with semi-gloss paint. 5) Replace the cracked and chipped FRP trim pieces, as needed. 6) Continue regrouting the flooring smooth and flush, as needed. 7) Caulk sink fixtures throughout the facility, as needed. 8) Continue caulking escutcheon plates and plumbing penetrations, as needed. Please be advised that the New Business Permit Application fee includes one initial inspection and one follow-up inspection. Additional fees will be assessed for any additional follow-up plan review inspections. MCESD inspection report was delivered via email. No County legal action will result from this inspection.

Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
