Inspection Comments

Plumbing inspection was conducted with RS 719. Superintendent is not on site. There is an electrician in the suite. Construction is at 30% completion. Please address the following items prior to the next inspection: 1. Provide a hand sink at the ware washing area. Current hand sinks are in the food prep/ food service area and not conducive for the dish washing person to access to wash their hands between handling dirty wares and removing cleaned/ sanitized wares from the sink for air drying. 2. Provide a reduced pressure zone assembly (RPZ) for the soda carbonator. Conduits and fittings after the RPZ must be PEX or stainless steel. Certify the backflow preventer for the soda carbonator and provide report. Please ensure there is no copper or brass alloy downstream from the RPZ. 3. Provide washable ceiling tiles above the self-service drink station and ware washing room. 4. Provide semi-gloss or high-gloss paint on ceiling of the bathroom and walls of the self-service drink areas. 5. Provide door sweep and weather stripping for exterior doors. 6. Caulk and seal all gaps, cracks that can fit the thickness of a business card. Seal gaps around escutcheon and fire sprinkler penetrations inside the walk-in cooler. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Emailed report to the owner. Please contact the Department at 602-506-6824 to schedule the next inspection.
