Permit update: Stopped by the site to check on the status of construction. Conducted walk-through with the superintendent, Phil W. Construction is at 95% completion. Provide copy of plan approval letter, link to Plan Review construction guide and permitting guidance documents. All cold holding equipment had been installed. Shelving units are being assembled. New roll up curtains are being installed for the walk-in units. The following items were noted during this inspection: 1. Smooth out the rough ridges on the concrete curbs. The edges are jagged. 2. Provide several coats of marine grade sealant on the concrete curb and floor throughout the facility (sale floor, inside and outside of walk-in units, ware washing area and dry storage area. Water must bead up on the surface of the concrete curb and floor. 3. Provide door sweeps and weather stripping at all exterior doors. 4. Hot water must be at 110*F at all sinks. Tempered water at lavatories must be at 95*F or above. Hot water must be available within 45 seconds upon activation. 5. Cold holding equipment must be able to maintain cold time/ temperature control for public health safety foods at 41*F or below. Freezers must be able to maintain frozen foods frozen. 6. Painted surfaces in the facility must be semi-gloss paint. Please continue with construction based on plans, approval letter and inspection. No county legal action will result from this inspection.
