Permit update: Plumbing inspection was conducted with the superintendent, Stephen Y. Construction is at 70% completion. Please address the following items prior to the next inspection: 1. Provide a hand sink with side splashguards in the ware washing/ ice machine area. Sink must have hot and cold water and can be indirectly discharge to the nearest floor sink. 2. Provide a hot water well at the ice cream case. Per plan there will be a floor sink at the ice cream cases. Floor sink is not provided for the running water dipper well. A hot water well can be used instead. 3. Provide a water stub out with angle stop at the mop sink for chemical dispenser. 4. Provide drying rack in the ware washing area since the 3-comp sink does not have side drainboards. 5. Hot water must be 110*F and available at point of service within 45 seconds upon activation. 6. Provide 1” air gap from the finished floor for drainpipes from 3-comp sink, prep sink, and drip tray. 7. Provide stand for the water heater. The report was e-mailed to the superintendent and owner. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Please contact the Department at 602-506-6824 for a follow up inspection. e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
