OC inspection for a Class 3 10+ E&D permit was conducted with manager Jo Dawn R. by appointment. The establishment was closed and not operating at time of inspection. The permit is not approved. Please address the following items prior to the OC re-inspection: 1) Provide a separate dedicated prep sink with hot and cold water. Indirectly plumb the prep sink to a floor sink with a 1" minimum air gap. Ensure rigid piping is used. 2) Remove the bidet sprayer unit in the restroom. 3) Fill all wall holes throughout the facility with silicone, as needed. 4) Paint the wall hole coverings with semi-gloss paint. 5) Flip the acoustical ceiling tiles above the soda fountain and paint them with a semi-gloss paint. 6) Replace the latex gloves with a nitrile or similar glove type. Latex can cause allergies. 7) Repair the flooring in the walk-in cooler by re-tacking the metal flooring and caulking around all gaps. 8) Provide a hose bib vacuum breaker at the mop sink faucet. Please be advised that the New Business Permit Application fee includes one initial inspection and one follow-up inspection. Additional fees will be assessed for any additional follow-up plan review inspections. MCESD inspection report was delivered via email. No County legal action will result from this inspection.
