Inspection Comments

Equipment inspection conducted with Site Superintendent, Jarrod. At the time of this inspection, this project was about 80% complete. Inspection report was emailed to Jarrod Address the following items prior to the next inspection: 1. Provide hot water of 110^f at all sinks, 100^ at tempered handwash stations within 45 seconds 2. Provide ASSE 1022 inline dual check valve with vent facing down for the coffee makers 3. Provide ASSE 1013 reduced pressure zone backflow preventer prior to the reverse osmosis system. No copper downstream of the RPZ. Drainage port to have 1 inch air gap to the top of the floor sink flood lip 4. Mount and seal all equipment to the wall that is not readily moveable for cleaning 5. Provide walk in cooler drainage line with 1 inch air gap to a dry well. Dry well to be 2ft depth rocks and sand. 6. Provide cove base in the hot tank water room 7. Complete installation of the lights in the walk in cooler 8. Seal the cove base around the walk in cooler to ensure no water under water in cooler 9. Ensure that chemical dispensers have ASSE 1055A with air gap backflow or spill resistant backflow preventer may be required if chemical dispensers have no backflow 10. Repair finish on the cabinet area in the womens restroom Please continue with construction according to plans, stipulation letter, and inspections. Please call (602) 402-3147 for a final inspection at 100% completion of project or if an additional onsite walk-through is needed. Please also ensure you have read your Responsibilities to Qualify for a Permit document and are in compliance with all requirements before final inspection. A certified food manager is required at time of approval. If not already obtained, please obtain your certified food manager certificate from an ANSI approved testing company. All other food handlers must obtain ANSI approved food handler certificates. No county legal action will result from the inspection.

Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
