New owner inspection. Establishment is closed at this time. Walk through revealed the following items for correction: 1). At the North bar cut back the drain lines at the floor sink and make sure that you keep a air gap between the drain and the flood rim of the sink. 2). At the bar, please disable the pull out on the hand sink by ziptie'ing the hose. 3). Please replace the dual check valves on the carbonators and show a receipt. You can also have the technician check the dual check valves and provide a tag on the carbonators showing that they work. 4). Repair the water leak on the water line at the mop sink. 5). Raise the shelving in the walk-in to 6 inches above the floor. 6). You have an option for the ice machine area. Or remove the door to the back room and replace with a strip curtain or install a hand wash sink with hot and cold water in the back room. Hand wash sink at the bar is 15 feet away. 7). Please raise the drain line of the hand sink at the North bar and lead off the floor to the floor sink. 8). At the south bar: a). Re-brace the ice well drain and mount to the wall. b). Run the hand wash drain line over to the wall and then over to the floor sink. Maintain gravity flow and 1 inch air gap. c). Remove wood that is no longer used and screwed to the floor. d). All wood in the bar needs to be painted. Both bars, plank under three compartment sink. e). Mount the splash guard on the hand sink and silicone the joints. 9). Raise the drain lines at the back soda system. Keep 1 inch air gap. 10). In the kitchen, silicone the side splashes at the hand wash sink. 11). Install coved base throughout the kitchen. Not under the hood. Stainless base is required under the hood. Remove some of the old caulking first. Floor in the South bar and men's room is scheduled for a replacement. Please make sure to install a washable floor and provide a coved floor / wall juncture. Permit issued Eating and Drinking 10+ Seating Class III This permit will allow you to cook and cool and re-heat up to two items on the menu. Outdoor grill is not being used and may not without County Approval. Water well and sewer system have been issued. Water permit 07393. This establishment/operation has been evaluated and qualifies for the issuance of the permit. To complete the permitting process, meaning issuance of this permit, and begin operation, the applicant must first submit payment of the annual operating permit fee to the Department’s Administrative Services. Per MCEHC Chapter I, Regs 4 & 5, no person shall conduct an operation or operate an establishment for which a permit is required without holding the necessary and valid permit to do so. No operating permit is valid, until the permit fee is received by the Department. It is also the responsibility of the permit holder/owner to notify MCESD if there are contact/ billing address changes. Re-inspection will be conduced October 4th at 10:30 AM.
