Plumbing Inspection. Walked with owner and contractor. Project about 80% complete. Retail permit. Walked site and reviewed work done to date. Correct the following items: 1) Install a hand sink in the 3-compartment sink area. All other hand sinks are out of sight from this area – a hand sink must be in line of sight of the 3-compartment sink. 2) Submit for a HACCP/Variance for vacuum packaging machine. 3) Coolers in front retail area must be self-contained; otherwise, floor sinks are required for drainage. 4) Shorten drain line of 3-compartment sink so that it has a minimum 1” air gap at floor sink. 5) If a chemical dispenser is to be installed at mop sink, a dedicated water line is required. It cannot be connected to mop sink faucet. 6) Secure sprayer for 3-compartment sink to wall. 7) Install cove base on inside and outside of walk-in. Use metal base such as stainless steel or galvanized aluminum. Ensure there is also approved cove base at hood area. 8) Flash off top of walk-in and hood to ceiling. 9) Provide a split toilet seat for restroom. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Report emailed to Ninos.
