Inspection Comments

OC re-inspection for a Class 2 0-9 E&D permit was conducted without an appointment. The manager or owner were not present at time of inspection. The permit is still approved. Please address the following items prior to the routine inspection: 1) Re-install the side sneeze guard piece at the pick up side of the front service line. 2) Transition the flex drain of the ice machine to rigid piping and provide a 1" minimum air gap above the floor sink. 3) Continue caulking all escutcheon plates and plumbing penetrations throughout the facility. 4) Remove the foam guards from the sinks and prep areas, as discussed, and provide a smooth, durable, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable material for these areas. 5) Recaulk around the front area floor sink gap. MCESD inspection report was delivered via email. No County legal action will result from this inspection.

e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
