Inspection Comments

Teams meeting with contractor, David R. and owner, Rex to go over the plan approval letter. The following items were discussed: 1. There will be 3 tankless Rinnai water heater. 2. Additional hand sink will be provided in the ice machine room. 3. Countertop will be granite. 4. 3/8" radius cove base will be provided at walls/ floor junctures. Metal cove base will be around the walk-in unit, Quarry cove tile will be in the kitchen, Slim-foot tile cove base or rubber cove base will be in restrooms and dry storage areas. 5. Provide a reduced pressure zone (RPZ) assembly (ASSE 1013) at the water connection point of each rinser in the bar. 6. Provide a RPZ at the water connection point of each soda carbonator. 7. Provide a vented dual check valve (ASSE 1022) at the water connection point of each coffee / tea brewer or non-carbonated drink equipment. 8. Air curtain will be at delivery door. 9. Roll up door will be dock sealed. 10. Pest control will be provided for the facility. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Report is auto-emailed to the owner.

Priority foundation violation is a minor violation that does not directly contribute to an increased risk of foodborne illness but failure to correct this violation may lead to the occurrence of a priority violation.
e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
