Ensure that public/employee handwashing facilities are provided with a suitable hand cleanser. Priority Foundation-5-205.11, Pf: Using a Handwashing Sink-Operation and Maintenance---The hand sink in the ware wash area was not accessible due to multiple bikes and dough containers stored in front of it. The sink also had pans stored in the sink. PIC relocated all items to give access to the sink. Ensure that all hand wash stations are maintained and easily accessible at all times.

The PREMISES shall be free of Items that are unnecessary to the operation or maintenance of the establishment such as EQUIPMENT that is nonfunctional or no longer used.

This establishment is not participating in the award program at this time and had 1 Priority, 4 Priority Foundation and 2 Core Violations on this inspection. Core-2-102.12(A), C: Certified Food Protection Manager----The PIC is not a certified food protection manager. Maricopa County requires all establishments that serve open food, which requires time/temperature control for food safety, to have at least one certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) on staff. The Person in Charge shall be a CFPM and is required to be onsite during the hours of operation. This certificate must be visible or readily accessible and kept at the establishment for all inspections. ***Please correct the item noted on the OC Inspection report prior to next routine inspection: Re-install the door for the washer/ dryer closet. Door was removed. Discussed proper handwashing with the PIC. Provided the PIC with CFM and when to wash handouts. Emailed the inspection report. No County legal action will result from this inspection.

Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
