PRIORITY VIOLATION-5-403.11, P: Approved Sewage Disposal System __ Noted the pizza prep table has drains for daily cleaning purpose but drainpipe was not route to floor sink but into a bucket. Provide rigid drainpipe for the drain from the equipment. Drainpipe must discharge indirectly to a floor sink with minimum 1" air gap from the finished grade or flood rim. Also, the condensation drainpipe from the air conditioning unit is directly drained to sewer by tapping into the drainpipe from the hand sink. Provide indirect drainage via a funnel drain, or evaporator pan/ evaporator.

Per manager, a service company come in and service / clean the conveyor every 6 months. Cleaning of food debris must be done as often as needed to prevent accumulation and attract pests.

Please be advised that the person in charge must be a CFPM and presence on site at all operational hours. Food handlers must maintain food handler’s certifications. The establishment is participating in the award program at this time and received a C grade. The establishment has 1 Priority violation and 1 Priority foundation violation and 7 core violations in this inspection. Please contact the Department at 602-506-6824 to schedule the next inspection. At this time allow 7-15 business days to schedule. No County legal action will result from this inspection. Emailed the report to the owner and kitchen manager. Priority foundation violation is a minor violation that does not directly contribute to an increased risk of foodborne illness but failure to correct this violation may lead to the occurrence of a priority violation.
e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
