Inspection Comments

The OC re-inspection was conducted with Sam. The following items must be addressed within 7 days: 1) Ensure adequate hot water / tempered water at the restroom hand sink 2) Repair the flooring in the walk in unit 3) Caulk the base of the mop sink 4) Provide approved storage racks and ensure that the bottommost shelf is at least 6 inches up off of the floor. All food and single service items must be 6 inches up off of the floor. 5) Provide an approved cove base where cove tiles were repaired. There must be a 3/8” radius. Please also check the tiles that were under the 3 compartment sink. You can tool in a siliconized grout or similar. 6) Provide lip at the 3-compartment sink as discussed. 7) Provide handwashing verbiage, handwashing cleanser, and hand drying provision for new hand sink. 8) Ensure a designated area for all employee drinks. The small refrigeration unit was removed. 9) Route the purge line of the glycol system to the floor sink with approved air gap 10) Provide additional light for prep area by the beer walk in cooler 11) Provide green tag verification for the hood 12) Repair the laminate as discussed. Discussed possibly cutting smooth FRP panels and caulking around. 13) Conduct a deep clean and pressure wash compacting / trash / grease enclosure The inspection report was e-mailed to Sam. No county legal action will result from this inspection.

Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
