Inspection Comments

Equipment inspection conducted with Cyndi . At the time of this inspection, this project was about 30% complete. Inspection rights and inspection report was emailed to Cyndi Address the following items prior to next inspection: 1. Provide handwash station with splash guards in area with 3 compartment sink and ice machine 2. Provide indirect plumbing hard piped with 1 inch air gap to floor sink for the the three compartment sink and the ice machine 3. Provide cove base with 3/8 radius in the ice machien room, area by the mopsink and by the retail coolers 4. Provide washable ceiling tiles above the mopsink, retail coolers, and in the ice machine/three compartment sink room 5. Provide easy cleanable, durable, non-absorbent and smooth surface for the walls in the ice machine/three compartment sink room, behind the retail coolers and area abound the mopsink 6. Mount the mopsink to the wall 7. Mopsink faucet not to extend below the mopsink flood lip. Secure existing faucet or replace 8. Seal area of the floor in the laundry room that is in disrepair, hole and peeling 9. Replace Formica counter with hard surface that is easy cleanable, durable, non-absorbent and smooth 10. Seal and smooth all unsealed wood/filler board areas under the three compartment sink in the cabinet 11. All cold hold equipment to hold 41^F or below at time of final inspection Facility to be bagging ice. Discussed changes required to be able to bag ice for retail sale Please continue with construction according to plans, stipulation letter, and inspections. Please call (602) 402-3147 for a final inspection at 100% completion of project or if an additional onsite walk-through is needed. Please also ensure you have read your Responsibilities to Qualify for a Permit document and are in compliance with all requirements before final inspection. A certified food manager is required at time of approval. If not already obtained, please obtain your certified food manager certificate from an ANSI approved testing company. All other food handlers must obtain ANSI approved food handler certificates. No county legal action will result from the inspection.

Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control.
