Inspection Comments

Plumbing inspection for a Class 4 10+ E&D permit was conducted with superintendent Michael F. by appointment. The project is approximately 50% complete. Reviewed floor sink locations, finishes, and water heater installation. Please ensure the following items are addressed by the completion of the project: 1) Provide an ASSE 1013 reduced pressure backflow preventer upstream of the bar glass rinsers. Certify and provide a test report. 2) Provide an ASSE 1013 reduced pressure backflow preventer upstream of the steam table, if an auto-fill/submerged inlet is present. 3) Provide a semi-gloss paint finish at all painted dry wall areas located at food/drink service areas. 4) Provide micro-switches to all air curtain devices and disable all manual switches. IPM requirements were provided via email. Please contact the Department to schedule the equipment inspection (50-75% completion) at 602.506.6824. MCESD inspection report was delivered via email. No County legal action will result from this inspection.

Priority foundation violation is a minor violation that does not directly contribute to an increased risk of foodborne illness but failure to correct this violation may lead to the occurrence of a priority violation.
e.g.- Hand washing soap and paper towels not available at hand wash sink (may lead directly to food employees not properly washing hands when required)
Core violation is a minor violation that relates to general maintenance and sanitation.
e.g. -No sign reminding employees to wash hands
Verification Visits are inspections of establishments enrolled in the MCESD Cutting Edge Program, which requires an enhanced food safety program and ongoing demonstration of active managerial control. Verification Visit inspections found in compliance with Cutting Edge program requirements receive an “A” grade.
