Comments/Details

Pre-final walk through with the superintendent for the kitchen. The following items were discussed:
1). All penetrations through the wall and ceiling in the walk-in units will be filled and finished out smooth.
2). Side room ceiling will be scrim wrapped.
3). Walk-in units will be flashed to the ceiling.
4). Hood will be caulked to the back wall.
5). All escutcheons and clean out covers will be installed. Also for AC condensate drains.
6). Side rooms will be painted with washable paint, laundry room will receive coved base.
7). Water heater drains will be led to the mop sink, see if you can bring all the drains to the wall and then over, follow gravity flow, brace and provide air gap.
8). Mop sink will have FRP In the splash zone.
9). Provide a faucet or angle stop for the additional water line at the mop sink.
10). Label ice machine in laundry room with sign, not for human consumption.
11). All sinks will be caulked to the wall at the top wall juncture. Keep caulk joint flush or beveled away from the wall if wide.
12). Walk-in floors will be water sealed.
13). Dry storage may have acoustic ceiling tile.

At final all equipment needs to be in and on and holding at proper temperatures. Provide hot and cold water at all sinks.
No County legal action will result from this inspection.
